BDEDMT corded multi head drill

The DR340B is a corded electric drill manufactured by Black+Decker.

This machine is part of Black+Decker's "Matrix™" system where the whole chuck can be removed from the bottom of t he machine a different tool head attachment to allow different functions like sanding and sawing with the same tool body.

Black+Decker does not specify the weight on their website but do mention that tool is light weight. Although the interface for the replaceable tool head should make it heavier than a similar machine without interchangeable parts.

Exterior

The machine has a mixed orange and black plastic body with a black variable speed trigger switch. Above the trigger is a switch to reverse the rotation.

On the bottom of the handle there is an integrated holder for a hex bit that comes included with the machine.

The chuck is keyless but the machine and has an adjustable clutch with 11 settings.
