Bosch Bosch Professional BITURBO Brushless
BITURBO, pronounced "bi-turbo" is a term that Bosch uses for some 18 volt cordless power tools that have a more powerful electric brushless motor than other tools in their line up with a brushless motor.
In their marketing materials Bosch does not give any concrete information on what exactly makes a motor "BITURBO" but mentions the use of neodymium magnets and optimized airflow for cooling. Although both of these part of all brushless motors, better cooling may make it possible to get better performance compared to other motors with a similar size and weight.
Bosch also mentions that in order to use BITURBO tools to their maximum potential ProCORE batteries should be used.
