DDH361 cordless drill

The DDH361 is a cordless drill manufactured by Bosch Professional.

The machine has a brushed electric motor powered by a 36 volt battery.

Availability

At the moment of writing, in 2021 this machine was not listed on Bosch UK or USA website and is therefore marked as being discontinued here.

Bosch uses different model identifiers in North America than the rest of the world but no 36 volt drill was listed on  the Bosch UK website.

The HDH361 which is almost the same machine with the addition of a hammering mechanism was listed on Bosch USA website.

Exterior

The machine has a blue plastic housing with black rubberized parts and red accents.

The 36 volt battery is attached on the underneath the machine below the handle and slides in from the front. Above it is a red button to release the battery.

The handle has a red variable speed trigger switch at the front with a push button to reverse the turning direction directly above it on each side.

On top of the motor housing is a gear selector in the form of a red slide switch. In front of that is an aluminum gear housing with an auxiliary handle clamped around a round front so that it can be rotated when loosened.

In front of that is a clutch adjustment ring with 25 settings and a drill mode. At the front is an all metal keyless chuck.
