The DW460 is a heavy duty corded electric right angle drill manufactured by DeWalt for drilling large holes in wood.

The machine has a metal front with the motor located vertical behind the downwards pointing keyed chuck. There is a bow handle right above the chuck to apply downward pressure.

On the back is a yellow plastic housing with a black handle pointing backwards with a black trigger switch and rotation direction.

To counter the high torque the machine has a detachable side handle that can be placed on the right or left side.

The machine has an clutch mechanism that prevents the operator from losing control when the machine binds up or stalls.
