48-11-2402 M12 3.0 Ah battery

The 48-11-2402 is Lithium Ion battery pack for the M12 battery system manufactured by Milwaukee. Milwaukee calls it M12 Red Lithium XC 3.0.

It has the same 3.0 Ampere hour capacity as the 48-11-2403 but uses six 1.5 Ah cells instead of three 3.0 Ah cells making the battery pack significantly bulkier and heavier.

This battery is sometimes included with M12 tools that are part of a kit containing a tool body, charger and battery. These tools usually have the suffix "-22XC" in the product code.

In 2021 this battery was not listed on Milwaukee USA's website when filtering for M12 batteries but can be found through the tool pages for kits that include the battery.

Some of these batteries have the text "3.0" after "XC" on the side, and some don't.

Milwaukee does not specify the weight on their website.
