0850-20 M12 handheld vacuum

The 0850-20 is a 12 volt cordless handheld vacuum cleaner manufactured by Milwaukee

The tool has brushed electric motor powered by a M12 battery.

It is the only handheld vacuum for the M12 battery system. The only other vacuum is the 0960-20 but it cannot be held with one hand.

Exterior

The machine had a plastic red body with an integrated D-shape handle behind it. All the way on the bottom of the handle is an integrates "nail hook" to hang the machine on a wall on a small hook or nail.

An M12 battery is inserted in the back of the handle. On the underside of the handle is a black trigger switch and a lock on switch above it.

In front of the lock on switch is a row of four red LEDs that act as a battery charge indicator. Milwaukee calls this the "fuel gauge".

The front part of the machine is a detachable dust collection box with a transparent window on top.

On the font there is a angled round opening with a a diameter of 1 1/4" (32 mm) on which different nozzles and brushes can be attached for specific cleaning jobs.

Operation

The machine is activated by a black trigger switch on the underside of the handle. Above it, on the top side of the handle is a lock on switch to keep the machine running without having to hold the trigger down.

The dust collection box can be removed by pressing a button on top and twisting the front part and pulling it forward. The filter remains attached to the body and can also be twisted to be removed for cleaning.
