JS481LG variable speed bow handle jig saw
The JS481LG is a electric corded jig saw manufactured by Ryobi.
The machine is powered by a 576 watt brushed electric motor from a power outlet.
This jig saw has a bow handle shaped bright green plastic housing with a black rubberized grip.
The machine is activated with a gray trigger switch. Above the trigger switch is a grey round lock on button to keep the machine running without needing to hold the trigger.
In front of the lock on button is a gray speed selection dial for setting the number of strokes per minute.
The front side of the body is an oribital actions selector with a large sticker explaining how to use it. Ryobi calls this function "Speedmatch".
By releasing a lever on the side the base tilted up to 45º to make bevel cuts without needing additional tools.
In the base of the saw is a vacuum attachment to which a vacuum can be connected to extract saw dust. There is also a built in dust blower mentioned on the product page but not in the user manual.
The saw has an integrated LED to illumininate the working area. It comes on as soon as the trigger is pressed.
Ryobi does not list specifications for maximum cutting capacity and stroke length on the product page on their website.
