GST 120 E barrel grip jig saw

The GST 120 E is a barrel grip jig saw manufactured by Bosch.

The machine is powered by a 650 watt brushed electric motor from a power outlet.

Exterior

The body is made out of dark blue plastic with black rubberized top around where the operator's hand is placed.

This machine has a distinctive blank aluminium front housing.

To turn the machine on the slide switch on the side has to be pushed forward.

On the back there is a variable speed setting dial which can be used to set the number of strokes per minute from 1500 to 2800.

On the side there is a four step orbital actions selector and a blower switch.

On the bottom there is a hex nut which has to be loosened to tilt the base up to 45º.

Transparent plastic anti splinter guards can be mounted in the base.
