The GST 160 BCE is a bow handle jig saw manufactured by Bosch. Together with the GST 160 CE barrel grip jigsaw it is the most powerful corded jig saw in Bosch' line up.

The machine is powered by an 800 watt brushed electric motor.

The jig saw features a patented double roller saw blade guide that keeps the helps keep saw blade straight on deeper cuts.

Variants

Bosch uses different model numbers for products sold in the USA. The GST 160 CE is sold in the USA as JS572EK and has a black blade clamp lever instead of of a red one. It is also suited for 120 volt and has a USA plug.

On Bosch UK website the GST 160 CE is listed as 120 volt. But some shops in the UK state 240 volts. In the UK both voltages are used depending on the work environment. It is unclear if there are multiple voltage variations with the UK plug exist.
