GCM 12 SDE slide compound miter saw

The GCM 12 SDE is a miter saw manufactured by Bosch.

The machine powered by a 1450 watt brushed electric motor from  power outlet.

The machine saws using a replaceable 305 mm rotating saw blade.

The blade is fixed with a special nut which allows changing it without needing any tools.

The saw can be turned up to 52º left and 60º right for miter cuts. Additionally it can also do bevel cuts up to 47º left and 47º right.

The dust extraction has inlets on both top and back. A vacuum cleaner has to be attached to extract saw dust while cutting.

The machine has a variable speed setting from 3100 up to 4000 RPM. The lower speeds in combination with an appropriate saw blade allows cutting materials like wood composites, plastic and aluminium.

The machine has a soft start feature and a laser guide.

This machine hs a similar feature set as the GCM 8 SDE but with a bigger saw blade and larger cutting capacity.
