GBA 12V 6.0Ah battery

The GBA 12V 6.0 Ah is Lithium Ion battery pack for the 12V Max battery system manufactured by Bosch.

With 6.0 Ah it is the highest capacity battery available in the battery system in 2021. Because it contains double the amount of cells it is significantly bulkier and heavier than batteries with only three cells.

Exterior

The battery pack contains six cylindrical 18650 cells. Three of them are grouped together upright so that the top part of the battery pack can fit inside a handle of a power tool.

The other three cells are placed next to each other in a rectangular enclosure so that the tool has a stable base when standing upright on the battery pack.

The top part of the battery pack has a black plastic casing with recessed electrical contacts on top. The bottom part has latches on both sides to retain the battery when inserted in a tool.

On the side of the base the text "Bosch 12V 6.0 Ah Li-Ion" is printed.
