GAS 12V handheld vacuum cleaner

The GAS 12V is a compact cordless handheld vacuum cleaner manufactured by Bosch as part of the Bosch Professional product line.

The tool has brushed electric motor powered powered by a 12V max battery.

It is the only vacuum cleaner in the Bosch Professional 12V Max battery system. The machine is small enough to fit in the smallest 102 L-BOXX.

The machine should only be used for cleaning up dry debris.

Exterior

The machine has a blue plastic body with a black rubberized horizontal handle positioned above the motor housing. A 12V max battery is inserted in the back of the handle.

On top, at the front of the handle is a red on/off switch. Below that is a battery charge indicator on the left side consisting out of three green LEDs.

The side of the motor housing has a red Bosch logo on it and on the back side there are horizontal exhaust slits.

On the  front of the machine is a detachable dark tinted transparent plastic dust collection box that contains filter that is folded like an accordion to increase its surface area. The dust collection box has a capacity of 0.4 liters.

At the front of the dust collection box an included nozzle can be attached.

Operation

The machine is activated by pressing the red button on top of the handle.

In front of the switch is a black button that detaches the dust collection box. When the box is detached the filter can also be removed for cleaning. Bosch recommends cleaning it with another vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment.
