12V Max Angle drill Cordless Drilling & fastening

The GWB 12V-10 is a cordless angle drill manufactured by Bosch as part of the Bosch Professional product line.

The machine has a brushed electric motor that is powered by a 12V Max battery.

The head of this angle drill can be adjusted at 5 different angles, making it more versatile than most other angle drills that do not have this capability.

Availability

This product was previously available under the name GWB 10.8V-LI but was renamed in 2017 to its current name.

In North America this angle drill has the model name PS11.

Exterior

The machine has a dark blue plastic cylindrical body. A 12V Max battery is inserted in the bottom, the upper part of the body is both a motor housing and handle. The body has some black rubberized parts for better grip.

On the front of the handle is a large red variable speed trigger switch that is large enough to allow the operator's hand to be placed on various places along the body while still able to operate the trigger.

At the bottom of the handle is a battery charge indicator consisting out of three green LEDs.

On top of the body is a swiveling head with a keyless chuck. Above the chuck is an LED light that illuminates the working area.

Operation

The machine is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger switch. The direction of rotation can be changed with  the red push button above it.

The position of the drill head can be adjusted by pressing down the round grey button at the joint. Around it are five indentations that mark the positions in which the head can be  set. The positions are at 90 (sideways),  67.5, 45, 22.5 and 0º (upwards).

The machine also has an automatic spindle lock which allows it to be used as a regular screw driver, even with a depleted or no battery.
