GAS 18V-1 handheld vacuum cleaner

The GAS 18V-1 is a handheld vacuum cleaner manufactured by Bosch. It is part of the 18 volt Bosch Professional product line.

The machine sucks in air using a fan that is connected to a brushed electric motor that is powered by an 18 volt battery.

Compared to predecessor

The vacuum is the successor of the GAS 18V-LI and is a completely new design. The machine now comes with a flexible hose accessory and the extension tube consists out of two parts making it possible to fit inside an L-BOXX.

The battery is placed behind the handle for better balance, a more solid on/off switch and the dust container can be emptied by simply opening a door instead of removing the whole container.

The machine uses cyclone technology to optimize airflow but has a smaller surface of 55 cm² and no HEPA filter making it less suitable for collecting fine dust than its predecessor.
