GAL 3680 CV battery charger

The GAL 3680 CV is a fast battery charger for Bosch Professional Lithium Ion batteries.

The charger is meant for 36 volt batteries but can also charge 14.4 and 18 volt batteries but not 12 volt batteries.

The charger has a built in fan that blows air around the battery to cool it while charging.

In North America this model is sold under the name "BC3680 36V".

Exterior

The charger has a black plastic case with ventilation slits on the sides and top. The electrical contacts from the battery are on top near the front.

A battery is placed on it upside down at an angle.

The power cord is permanently attached and can be wound around the charger for transport.

At the front there are two status LEDs to indicate the charging status or an error.

Operation

After plugging the charger in an outlet a battery can be placed on top to start charging it. The battery itself has a charge indicator to tell how full it is.
