6300-4 D-handle drill
The 6300-4 is a D-handle shaped corded electric drill manufactured by Makita.
The handle is behind the body making it a D-handle. This makes the machine longer but also less high.
The body of the machine is plastic with a "Makita teal" color. On the handle there is black trigger switch to activate the machine. Behind it is a small black round lock on button to lock the trigger in the "on" position without needing to keep pressing it.
The machine has a total of four speed setting with maximums of 650, 700, 1250, and 1500 RPM. The gears are selected using two different switches on the side. One marked L (Low) and H (High) on the bottom of the handle and another one on the front of the machine marked I and II. Where L + I is the lowest setting and H + II is the highest.
The gearbox on the front of the machine is made out of aluminium and has a threaded hole for a side handle on each side.
The metal keyed chuck can take drill bits up to 13 mm in diameter.
This machine does not have a clutch.
