The Makita H7611 is a electric corded circular saw manufactured by Makita.

The saw is powered by 1600 watt brushed electric motor and with a 190 mm saw blade can cut up to 65 mm deep. It is a more powerful variant of the HS7600 and can cut up yo 70% faster according to Makita.

Exterior

The machine body is made out of "Makita teal" colored with the handles covered in soft black rubber.

as black round slotted covers that provide access to the motor brushes. The motor housing is flattened on two sides so the machine can be put on its side and upside down to change the saw blade.

The base is made out of aluminum with plastic wingnuts to adjust the bevel angle and rip fence.

The saw blade is shielded with an aluminium cover on top with a dust ejection chute that can connect to a vacuum.

The bottom part of the saw blade is covered by a spring loaded retractable cover which has a plastic lever to manually retract it.

Operation

The machine is activated with the trigger switch on the underside of the top handle.

On the side of the handle, behind the trigger switch is a a round black lock button that needs to be pressed before the trigger to prevent the machine from activating unintentionally.

To adjust the angle a wingnut at the front and back of the base needs to be loosened and tightened.
