4329K corded bow handle jig saw

Corded electric tools Sawing Jig saw

The 4329K is a corded bow handle jig saw manufactured by Makita.

It is powered by a 450 watt brushed motor and Makita refers to it as a "light duty model" but does not lack in features.

Exterior

The body is ergonomically shaped D-handle type made out of "Makita teal" colored plastic with soft black rubberized parts on the handle.

There are ventilation slots on near front and back of the housing because the machine does not have a built in blower. Instead it had an integrated tube to connect a vacuum on the underside of the body for dust extraction.

At the front is a transparent plastic dust cover that can be moved down. When down it will prevent dust from being thrown forward on the cutting line. When a vacuum is attached it will also make the dust extraction more effective.

On the back side there is key holder with hex key for changing the blade and tilting the base for bevel cuts.

The titlable base is made out of aluminium.

Operation

The machine is activated with the large black trigger switch on the underside of the handle. Above the trigger is a round black lock on button to keep the machine running without needing to hold the trigger.

At the top and front of the handle there is a red dial to set the strokes per minute.

On the side there is a black knob to set the orbital actions with three steps.
