MLT100N 260mm table saw

Th MLT100N is an corded electric table saw manufactured by Makita.

It is powered by a 1500 watt brushed electric motor and comes with a saw blade of 260 mm to cut up to 93 mm deep.

It replaces the MLT100 but it is not clear what the differences are. The MLT100N is 700 grams heavier but the only difference in specifications is that it comes with a 260 mm blade instead of 255 mm.

Exterior

The base of the machine is Makita teal colored with controls on the front.

The table surface is made out of aluminium and has a teal colored angle guide and two adjustable fences.

The top of the saw blade is encased in a blue semi transparent blade guard.

The right side of the table can be extended up to 650 mm to provide more support when needed.

The back of the table and the left side can slide backwards to provide support for longer cuts.

Operation

On the front there is a large green and red on/off switches. Next to that is a black crank lever for adjust the angle of the blade.

Safety

The machine has an electric brake for a fast stop and soft start feature.
