BE 75-16 Quick corded drill

Corded electric tools Drill Drilling & fastening

The BE 75-16 Quick is an electric corded drill manufactured by Metabo. It has an enormous maximum torque of 75 Nm making it suitable for drilling large holes. But the low maximum RPM makes it slow for drilling small holes.

The "Quick" part of the name refers to the ability of the keyed chuck to be quickly removed without needing any tools. On the body of the machine is a hex shank chuck that allows 1/4" hex bits to be inserted directly.

The drill has a green plastic body with vertical redline between the back and front.

The machine is activated with a black trigger switch on the handle.

Above the trigger is a switch that reverses the direction of rotation and also adjusts the position of the brushes so that the motor can output the same amount of power in both directions.

On the front there is an aluminium gearbox with an extra ong rotatable side handle clamped around it. This helps ther operator control the mancine when a lot of toruqe is applied.

The machine has a safety clutch that will mechanically disengage the drive when too much torque is applied.

On the power cord there is a holder for up to four bits and the chuck key.
