The EY79A2X is a cordless hammer drill manufactured by Panasonic.

The machine has a brushless electric motor powered by either a 14.4 or 18 volt battery.

This machine has the same appearance and functionality as the EY74A2X with the addition of a hammer mode. See the page of the EY74A2X for more information.

Availability

At the moment of writing in April 2022 the machine is listed for sale at various online shops, but some have the machine listed as no longer available.

The machine does not appear on the hammer drill page of Panasonic's European website. The Swedish and Norwegian pages in the search results say that the machine is no longer available.

The EY79A3X has the same appearance but slightly better specifications and can be considered the successor of this machine.

The machine is marked as discontinued here for this reason.
