Parkside Parkside Max 16.0V battery system

The Parkside Max 16.0 Volt battery system is used for Parkside power tools.

The battery packs contain four 3.6 volt 18650 Lithium-Ion cells in series to produce 14.4 volt output. When fully charged the voltage can reach up to 16 volts. That is why this battery system, like some others is marketed as 16 volts but actually has a nominal rating of 14.4 volt.

Parkside also has some power tools for 14.4 volts that were introduced before the 16 volt label. The batteries are interchangeable.
