PAP 20 A1 2.0 Ah battery

The PAP 20 B1 is Lithium Ion battery pack for the X20V Team battery system from Parkside.

The battery has a nominal voltage of 18 volts with a maximum of 20 volts when fully charged. It has a capacity of 2.0 Ah.

The battery can be charged in 60 minutes with a regular charger or 30 minutes with a fast charger.

Availability

In December 2021 this battery was listed for sale and  in stock at German Parkside importer Kompernass.com. However the Dutch online Lidl shop is selling the PAP 20 B1 which is a similar battery with a higher product number which suggests it is the successor of this battery.

In 2022 online store Amazon.de also has a listing for the PAP 20 A1.

Exterior

The battery pack is box shaped and contains five cylindrical 18650 Lithium Ion cells with a capacity of 2.0 Ah each.

The battery pack has a black plastic casing with recessed electrical contacts on top. Along all sides there is a horizontal red line with the text "Parkside X20V Team" on the left and right side.

The battery is designed to slide into the bottom of a power tool from the front to back.

At the front/top is a red push button that releases a latch to release the battery from the tool body.

On the left side is a battery charge indicator with a red, yellow and green LED and a membrane button to activate it.
