PAP 20 A3 4.0 Ah battery

The PAP 20 A3 is Lithium Ion battery pack for the X20V Team battery system from Parkside.

The battery has a nominal voltage of 18 volts with a maximum of 20 volts when fully charged. It has a capacity of 4.0 Ah.

The battery can be charged in 120 minutes with a regular charger or 60 minutes with a fast charger.

It has double the capacity as the PAP 20 B1. The cells in both batteries have the same capacity but the PAP 20 A3 has double the amount, also nearly doubling the weight and size of the battery pack.

Availability

At the moment of writing in December 2021 the Dutch online Lidl store lists the battery with a price of 34,99 euro but as out of stock.

Exterior

The battery pack is box shaped and contains ten cylindrical 18650 Lithium Ion cells with a capacity of 2.0 Ah each.

The battery pack has a black plastic casing with recessed electrical contacts on top. Along all sides there is a horizontal red line with the text "Parkside X20V Team" on the left and right side.

The battery is designed to slide into the bottom of a power tool from the front to back.

At the front/top is a red push button that releases a latch to release the battery from the tool body.

On the left side is a battery charge indicator with a red, yellow and green LED and a membrane button to activate it.
