PSBSA 20-Li A1 hammer drill

Cordless Drilling & fastening Hammer drill X20V
This product was marked as discontinued in 2021.
It is replaced by the PSBSA-20-Li-B2 hammer drill.

The PSBSA 20-Li A1 is a cordless hammer drill distributed under the Parkside brand.

The machine has a brushed electric motor that is powered by X20V Team battery.

The weight of the machine was not found on the distributor's website or the user manual.

Availability

In March 2021 the machine was listed on the German distributor's website but had no price information.

It is here marked as discontinued because it is not found for sale anywhere online and newer machines with similar specifications seem to have succeeded it.

Exterior

The machine has a dark green plastic housing with black rubberized parts around the handle and back.

The body has a very bumpy exterior with thick black rubber bulges all over giving it a very rugged appearance.

On the bottom of the handle a battery attaches by sliding in from the front.

On front of the handle is a red trigger switch with a black rubberized front. Above it is a push button to reverse the direction of rotation on each side.

In front of the red button is a threaded hole on each side where an auxiliary handle can be attached.

On top of the housing is a red gear selector switch.

At the front is a red clutch setting ring with a drill setting that disables the clutch. At the front is a black plastic chuck with a maximum opening of 13 mm.

Just below the clutch adjustment ring is a white LED that illuminates the working area.

Operation

The machine works as a standard drill. It is activated by pressing the variable speed trigger switch. The push button above it can be used to reverse the turning direction or as a trigger lock when the button is centered.

The resistance of the clutch is adjusted with the ring behind the chuck. The drill or hammer mode can be selected by turning the ring further so that the indicator triangle is aligned with the drill or hammer symbol.

The gear can be selected with the sliding switch on top of the body while it is not turning.
