P189 18V 1.5 Ah battery

The P189 is a 18 volt Lithium Ion battery pack in the 18V ONE+ HP system of Ryobi with a capacity of 1.5 Ampere hours.

The battery has a black plastic box shape. Unlike battery packs from other brands the leads are located on upright extension sticking up near the back making these battery packs bulkier than other systems.

This battery back does not have a built in charge indicator.

On the sides there are latches which have to be pressed to release the battery from the machine body it is inserted in.

The cells in this battery pack have a rated capacity of 1.5 Ampere hours.

Ryobi's website does not say how long it takes to charge this battery.
