P195 18V 3.0 Ah battery

The PBP003 is a 18 volt Lithium Ion battery pack in the 18V ONE+ HP system of Ryobi with a capacity of 3.0 Ampere hours.

The battery has a gray plastic box shape with a black top. Unlike battery packs from other brands the leads are located on upright extension sticking up near the back making these battery packs bulkier than other systems.

On the front there is a green button which will activate the charge indicator which consists out of four green LEDs.

On the sides there are latches which have to be pressed to release the battery from the machine body it is inserted in.

It is not clear how many cells are inside the battery pack. The pack looks bigger than a 2.0 Ah pack but smaller than a 4.0 Ah pack which contains double the amount of cells. Most likely there are 5 cells inside with more space between.

Ryobi's website does not say how long it takes to charge this battery.
