GDR 12V-105 impact driver

12V Max Cordless Drilling & fastening Impact driver

The GDR 12V-105 is a cordless electric impact driver manufactured by Bosch as part of the Bosch Professional product line.

The machine has a brushed electric motor that is powered by a 12V Max battery.

Another impact driver in the same battery system is the more powerful GDR 12V-110 which has a brushless motor.

Availability

This product was previously available under the name GDR 10.8V-LI but was renamed in 2017 to its current name.

In North America this impact driver has the model name PS41 or PS41N for the bare tool.

Exterior

The machine has a dark blue plastic housing with black rubberized parts mainly on the handle and back of the motor housing. The buttons and are red, like the Bosch logo on the side of the motor housing.

A 12V max battery is inserted in the bottom of the handle. At the front of the handle is a red trigger switch. Above it, on the left side of the body is a battery charge indicator consisting out of three green LEDs. Behind it is a rotation reverse switch on both sides.

At the front there is a bare aluminium hammer case with a black 1/4" hex bit holder in the center. Around the bit holder are three white LEDs that illuminate the working area placed behind a transparent plastic ring.

Operation

The machine is activated by pulling the red variable speed trigger switch. The turning direction can be reversed with red push button behind it.

On activation the three white LEDs around the bit holder will light up and the battery charge indicator will activate for a few seconds.

The bit can be removed by pulling the sleeve around the bit holder forward.
