DC18SF 14.4-18V LXT four port charger

The DC18RC is a four port battery charger for Makita battery packs in the LXT 18V and LXT 14.4V systems. It can charge two 3.0 Ah batteries in 60 minutes and four of them in 120 minutes.

The charger has a black plastic housing where up to four battery pack can be placed on top in receptacles next to eachother upside down by sliding it in from the back.

In between the first and second and third and fourth receptacle there are LEDs to indicate the status of each battery.

On the right side there are various LEDs to indicate the charging status.

The charger communicates with the battery management electronics in the battery pack to prevent damage to battery from overheating.
