BSL36A18 18/36V 2.5/5.0 Ah multivolt battery

The BSL36A18 is a battery pack for the Metabo HTP multivolt battery system.

Depending on what tool it is used it in battery can work as a 36 volt battery with a capacity of 2.5 Ah or as an 18 volt battery with a capacity of 5.0 Ah.

Exterior

The battery pack has a black plastic rounded rectangular housing with recessed electrical contacts on top.

On the sides along the top there are gray plastic latches which have to be pushed while the battery is pulled forward to release it from the machine.

At the front/top is a a battery charge indicator with 4 LEDs and a push button next to it.
