R18DSLQ4 18V cordless vacuum

The G18DBALQ4 is a 18 volt cordless handheld vacuum cleaner sold in the USA under the Metabo HTP brand.

The tool has brushed electric motor powered powered by a 18 or 18/36 multivolt battery.

The "Q4" suffix in the model name indicates that it is sold as a bare tool without battery and charger.

The machine can be used for cleaning up both dry and wet debris.

Exterior

The machine had a plastic white body with an integrated handle on the top. On the sides there are horizontal slits from which filtered air is blown out.

Behind the handle on the back side that slides in from above. The vacuum can stand upright on the battery.

The front part of the machine is made out of a detachable green semi-transparant plastic dust collection box.

On the font there is an opening on which different nozzles and brushes can be attached for specific cleaning jobs.

Operation

The machine is activated by pushing the gray slide switch on top of the handle forward with the thumb. The machine will keep running until the switch is manually moved to the off position.

The dust collection box can be opened by pushing the button on top. The filter can then be pulled out and the contents of the the dust collection box be emptied and the filter cleaned.
