DN18DSLQ4 18V cordless angle drill

18-36 multivolt Angle drill Cordless Drilling & fastening

The DN18DSLQ4 is a cordless angle drill sold in the USA under the Metabo HTP brand.

The drill has by a brushed motor powered by a 18 or 18/36 multivolt battery.

Exterior

The machine has a green body with a black rubberized top side. On the underside there is a large black variable speed paddle switch. Behind the switch is a button to reverse the turning direction. Above the paddle switch is black round cover that provides access to the motor brushes.

At the front there with a black keyless chuck pointing down. On both sides of the gear housing there is a threaded hole for a side handle. Next to the chuck is a white LED that  illuminates the working area.

The battery can be placed on the underside of the handle and the machine can stand upright on its battery. There is also the option to attach a metal belt hook at the bottom of the handle.

Operation

The machine is activated by pushing in the variable speed paddle switch.
