3.6V Cordless Drilling & fastening Power screwdriver

The EY7411-LA1S is a cordless electric screwdriver kit for professional use manufactured by Panasonic.

The tool is meant for professional users that need to drive a specific number of screws to a specific amount of torque for example in a factory where it is used on an assembly line.

The stated weight of 500 gram is with a battery inserted.

Exterior

The machine has a white plastic pistol shaped body with black rubberized parts. There is a hinge between the handle and the motor housing that allows the angle of the handle to be adjusted.

On top of the motor housing is a gear selector switch to switch between 200 and 600 RPM. Behind that is a lock switch that van be used to prevent unintended activation.

The battery is inserted at the bottom of the handle. At the bottom of the handle is a red segment display that can display the number of screws driven and some membrane buttons to reset the count, change the amount of torque applied and work mode. Below the display is a white LED that illuminates the working area.

On the left side of the motor housing there is a black rocker switch with an up down button.

At the front of the machine is a clutch ring with 21 settings and a 1/4" hex drive.

Operation

The machine is activated by pressing the up or down button on the side of the motor housing. The button can be held pushed down, or when the "hold" switch is enabled will keep going even when the button is released.

The machine will automatically stop when it detects that the selected amount of torque has been reached.

The desired number of screws can be set using the "mode" button to select the screw count setting and then using the plus and minus buttons to select the number of screws. Once this set the number on the display will automatically increment after every activation. Once the number is reached a buzzer will sound and the number will reset.

The count can also be reset manually by pressing the "RESET" button.
