Bosch Bosch Professional 36V battery system

The Bosch Professional 36V battery system is a battery system used by Bosch products.

Bosch has two distinctive product ranges; home & garden (green) and professional (blue). They each use different incompatible battery systems.

The 36 volt system is an exception. It is used by some professional and some garden tools. But within each range chargers and batteries are available with their own product identifiers.

For example the charger GAL 3680 CV starts with "G" to indicate that is part of the professional range. The charger AL 3640 CV is part of the home & garden range but can charge the same batteries, but is slower.
