Milwaukee Milwaukee FUEL
The word "FUEL" is added by Milwaukee to the name for some of their cordless power tools in the M12 and M18 battery systems to indicate that the tool has better performance than their other tools in the same category.
FUEL tools are more high end, have better specifications and use the latest technology like brushless motors that makes them better suited for intense professional use than non-FUEL tools. It is Milwaukee's way of adding a distinction between their "good" and "better" in their product line.
Besides having the "FUEL" printed on them all Milwaukee tools share the same red and black color scheme. FUEL and non-FUEL tools use the same batteries and chargers which makes the distinction more subtle than some other brands do who keep separate, product lines with incompatible battery systems.
